JOHN: This is John and I'm on the phone with Sherri. Hi, Sherri. Can you tell everyone a little bit about yourself and where you're from?
SHERRI: Hello, John. My name is Sherri. I am 42 years old and I live in the Midwest. I’m in Iowa, just north of Davenport, Iowa.
JOHN: Terrific. Sherri, how much weight have you lost so far?
SHERRI: Since February 9th of 2017 I’ve lost 87 pounds.
JOHN: Wow, incredible. Sherri, what type of environment did you grow up in?
SHERRI: Typical household. When I was younger I was fairly active. I had a mom who loves junk food and a dad who is a little bit healthier. But, whenever dad was gone, we would sneak into mom’s junk food.
JOHN: Well, alright. So, Sherri, give us a couple of examples of the programs you’ve tried before to lose weight.
SHERRI: I would try to lose weight by just following the latest fad diet. One was all fruit, one was no meat, no dairy, just whatever the latest fad was. Keeping your body down to 15 grams of sugar or less. And the total weight loss I’ve lost from some of those I believe was about 50 pounds.
JOHN: So, the most weight lost you’ve lost in the past is 50 pounds?
JOHN: Alright. Great. Sherri, what do you think the reason is for gaining the weight back?
SHERRI: Didn’t stick. Being on a fad diet you’re only going do it for a short period of time and unless you’re motivated, you’re not going to stick with it. In fact, they’re just that. They’re short-lived.
JOHN: Sherri, what were your expectations coming to a Mark Patrick seminar?
SHERRI: I just heard about it on the radio and I thought, “Okay. I cannot do this on my own. There is a guarantee if this did work and you can get your money back.” So, it was a no risk.
JOHN: Sherri, what changes have you noticed since the seminar?
SHERRI: My quality of life. I live a fairly active lifestyle. I’m not a couch potato. I don’t need junk. That’s my biggest thing. And I eat differently. Do I diet? No. Do I count calories? No. I just eat differently. It’s a life changer.
JOHN: Well, that’s terrific. Sherri, if there’s one statement or a word of advice you’d give someone thinking about coming to a seminar, what would that be?
SHERRI: Do it. Go. When you first register that’s the beginning of your new life. Thank you, Mark Patrick. I am greatly appreciative for the work that this organization has done for me. It is invaluable for individuals like myself. I’ll be honest. If it was not for this, I think I would be dead within eight years.
